Answer 1
David Shoobridge
Starting riding on his family’s farm in rural Tasmania, David had a passion for all things equine. He attended pony club and did some pony club level eventing.
Moving to NSW for university, he found a passion for dressage while still having an interest in jumping. Now, David’s property ‘Salisbury’ in Lancefield Victoria is being developed into a premier training centre and warmblood stud.
In the dressage world, his partnership with the phenomenal KWPN stallion, 00 Seven, established them as one of Australia’s most successful combinations in the world of FEI dressage, and confirmed David as one of the leading dressage riders in the country. This experience, coupled with his acute eye for detail and his highly articulate and charismatic style means that David is also in high demand as a trainer and coach.
David believes all riders can benefit from understanding the needs of our horses, their ability to communicate with us and us with them, and the need for structure, routine and a system.
